It’s true! When my cat knocked my toaster off the counter, I could hear it crying on the floor. When I looked, the handle was broken, so your theory is totally legit. The only problem is getting the cat to recognize the toaster is conscious so I’m enrolling them both in a class where they practice mutual respect exercises (namaste should work since God is in both), but it’s online, so I’m not sure how effective it’s going to be… I think the toaster is already connected to WiFi, so that part is solved, but getting the cat connected is going to prove to be a bit difficult… maybe Elon Musk has some ideas. Also, the toaster seems disrespectful, always burning my bread…. (maybe that’s what my cat senses and is reacting to)… so the toaster might be harder to train.
